Emily Kelly holds a BS in elementary education and an MA in art history from Brigham Young University. Her debut novel, The Portrait (published under the pseudonym Emilia Kelly), was a 2023 Whitney Award finalist. She works part time as a music teacher and serves as her ward’s Primary president. She and her husband are the parents of four children.
