The Compensating Power of Christ

B. J. Allen was born in Kaiserslautern, Germany, and lived most of his life as a youth in Centerville, Utah, as one of ten children to angelic parents. Since then he has lived all over the US: Detroit, Michigan; West Dundee, Illinois; Norman, Oklahoma; San Antonio, Texas; Fayetteville, Arkansas; and Provo, Utah. He currently lives in Provo with his wonderful wife and six children—two girls and four boys. He is a marketing professor at the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University. He has a bachelor’s degree in business management from Brigham Young University and a PhD in business administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio. His research has been published in leading academic outlets. He has also written and published two textbooks.

B. J. loves sports and spending time with his awesome family. He has served in a variety of Church responsibilities, including Primary teacher, youth Sunday School teacher, Sunday School president, elders quorum president, bishop’s counselor, and bishop.
