Sports Merit Badge Emblem

The Sports Merit Badge is earned by Scouts who participate in the team-building exercise of sports. To earn this badge a Scout must, among other things, understand the importance of warming up and cooling down, track training, practice, and development, and take part in a season of competitive sporting.This badge is not a requirement for the Eagle Scout Award. Merit badges are awarded to Scouts who complete the requirements for each badge. Merit Badges such as this are to be worn on your scout sash.
