Lead Thou Me On (Music CD)

BYU Vocal Point has been described as an "optical illusion for your ears." Their inventive a cappella style, innovative arrangements, and incredible vocal percussion continue to wow audiences everywhere.  They have performed before millions on national television on NBC's The Sing-Off, in concerts, and on YouTube.com.

While Vocal Point showcases mostly popular songs from yesterday and today in their concerts, the group always includes a few hymns and inspirational songs. Now for the first time, Vocal Point's music of praise and worship is featured exclusively on its own album.

* CD booklet contains full lyrics to all songs except "We All Need Saving."

BYU Vocal Point

Founded in 1991, Vocal Point is BYU’s 9-man a cappella group. Although Vocal Point was originally founded by students, it was adopted into BYU’s School of Music and continues to entertain audiences with their lively renditions of well known songs. Vocal Point competes annually in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella and placed first in 2006. Other years they have won the right to participate, but resigned because it took place on a Sunday. Vocal Point is currently competing on NBC’s “The Sing Off,” a nationally broadcast a cappella competition between 16 groups from across the US. The judges have loved the BYU signing group and so far have selected Vocal Point to move to the third round of the competition. Since its beginning, Vocal Point has produced multiple a cappella albums. The most recent is “Back in Blue,” their release from 2011 in which they perform favorites such as “I’m Yours,” “September” and “Jump, Jive and Wail.”
