Oils In Our Lamps

Amid the challenges of the last days, members of the Church have been told to prepare and to look forward with faith. But how can you find hope and peace in the turmoil? In Oil in Our Lamps: Finding Hope and Peace in the Last Days, author Craig James Ostler reminds readers of the spiritual, temporal, and service-rendering principles that can fill your figurative lamp.

Drawing upon scriptures and the insights of the Apostles, prophets, and General Officers of the Church regarding the Savior’s teachings, this inspiring volume offers valuable instruction on how to navigate an unsettled world using the lens of three well-known parables: the parable of the ten virgins, the parable of the talents, and the parable of the sheep and the goats. As you read and ponder the many examples that illustrate how to apply the principles taught in these parables, you can better learn to live with hope and peace—even in the face of adversity.
