Finding Your Way After Losing a Loved One

The gospel of Jesus Christ’s teaching that life continues beyond the grave and that our spirits exist eternally offers immeasurable hope in the face of death.

Despite this reassurance, the temporary separation from those we love can be one of the greatest trials of our mortal existence, leaving a shadow of grief over those left behind. Finding Your Way after Losing a Loved One provides guidance through the early days of loss and beyond, including helpful counsel and encouragement, powerful scriptures, and inspirational quotes and stories.

With topics ranging from navigating the grieving process to the power of prayer to learning what happens after we leave mortality, each chapter presents practical ideas on how to cope with loss and comfort those who mourn. The most vital message, however, is the fundamental truth that your heart can be healed as you draw upon the divine power of Jesus Christ’s infinite Atonement. Amid the anguish of loss, God will walk beside you, imparting peace and guidance to help you manage your heartache and lighten your burden.
