Witnesses of Miracles & Mercies 1838-1879
Witnesses of Miracles and Mercies: 1838–1879 is a continuation
of the first volume, telling more stories from the history of
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Much has
been written about many aspects of the history of the Church,
and those stories are widely known. Much less known are the
family and personal histories of members of the Church who
were there when Church history was made. Generally, these
are accounts of people not often mentioned in Church history,
giving the reader fresh perspective from little-known sources.
So much of that family history remains to be discovered and
passed on. This book is that effort, and as such, it provides a
glimpse behind the scenes.
