When his own eternal marriage ended, Reg felt that he had lost everything important in his life, but he continued forward with hope in Christ's Atonement. Reg Christensen

Reg Christensen and his wife, Carol, live in Waunakee, Wisconsin. They are the parents of seven and grandparents of sixteen. Reg is a teacher and author. The goal and theme of his teaching and writing is Liken Unto Us—relating and applying the principles of the gospel to our personal lives by trusting in the Lord and His Atonement. He retired in Wisconsin as the Church Educational System coordinator for the Green Bay, Madison, and Wausau stakes and as director of the Institute of Religion adjacent to the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He began his CES career in Lehi, Utah, where he taught released time seminary for twenty-three years. Reg has enjoyed a lifetime of Church service as a missionary, young men's president, bishopric counselor, high councilor, stake executive secretary, branch president, bishop, high priest group leader, ward clerk, district clerk, and ward seminary teacher. He and Carol recently served as missionaries for the Brigham Young University– Idaho Pathway program and, at the time of this writing, are living in East Jerusalem on an eighteen-month term of volunteer service at the Brigham Young University Jerusalem Center for Near Eastern Studies. Their responsibilities are tour hosting and humanitarian outreach. Their current Church callings are in the Bethlehem branch with Carol as Relief Society president and Reg as branch president. Reg is a tradesman and handyman and enjoys reading, writing, woodworking, leathercraft, travel, exploring nature, bird watching, and being with family and friends.
